Start with the question

Is your goal to address an identified deficiency, understand a sleep claim, or compare labels? A different salt name alone does not answer that question.

Compare the label

Both supply magnesium. Compare elemental milligrams per serving, capsule count, tolerability, and the other ingredients rather than the compound weight.

What the sleep research says

The bisglycinate trial summarized in our magnesium guide did not compare it with citrate. It cannot establish that glycinate is the better sleep product.

Before buying

Consider digestive effects, kidney health, and medication spacing. Do not turn a study dose into your personal dose.
